Over the past few months, I've spent time enjoying reading the adventures and musings of friends and strangers. In search of an outlet for my own adventures and musings, I thought it might be time to start a blog of my own. Then today, in my annual review, my boss had this to say: "She has also become very involved and afluent with social media networks, including Twitter and Facebook, which I find she uses as a marketing platform for our work. She also uses Twitter to keep up on industry news, current events and marketing trends." I took this as a sign to complete the trifecta and start a blog. Bare with me as I stumble my way through the growing pains of blogging...and welcome to my so-called life!

I have a love for Detroit that most do not appreciate. My other loves include but are not limited to: the written word, coffee, sunshine, vino, the ocean, photography, politics, travel, history, friends, family, live music, my iPod, gossip rags, Kid Rock and Detroit Tigers baseball.
